About
Robert T. Ingram is the founder of UnConfined Minds, a movement dedicated to helping incarcerated individuals and their families build brighter futures through education, financial literacy, personal development, and faith. Through books, mentorship, courses, and outreach programs, he is committed to proving that a person's current circumstances do not have to define their future.

THE STORY BEHIND UNCONFINED MINDS
UnConfined Minds was born from a simple belief: every person has the ability to change their life when given the right tools, knowledge, and support.
While incarcerated, Robert T. Ingram witnessed firsthand how many individuals lacked access to financial education, entrepreneurship training, life skills, and positive mentorship. Rather than allowing his circumstances to define him, he chose to use his time to learn, grow, and prepare for a greater purpose.
Today, UnConfined Minds exists to help individuals break cycles, build confidence, develop leadership skills, and create lasting legacies for themselves and their families. Through education, mentorship, and personal transformation, we empower people to move beyond their past and step into their potential.
Because incarceration should not be the end of someone's story—it can be the beginning of a new chapter.

Thank You
One of the greatest honors and most memorable days of my life was celebrating my graduation at the commencement ceremony and banquet. Despite my circumstances, I made a decision that they would never define who I am or determine who I could become. I wanted to make my parents proud, set an example for my children, and prove that with faith, perseverance, and hard work, purpose is never out of reach. I am deeply humbled and grateful to have graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Pastoral Ministry with an Emphasis in Counseling.
First and foremost, I give all glory and honor to my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Without His grace, strength, and guidance, none of this would have been possible. To my family and friends, thank you for your unwavering love, encouragement, prayers, and support throughout this journey. A heartfelt thank you to Coach Joe Gibbs, Ms. Jan Bostick, Ms. Talena Lee, and everyone with Game Plan for Life, the North Carolina Department of Adult Correction, and Judson College at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary for believing in me, investing in me, and giving me an opportunity to grow. Your faith in me has forever changed my life.
This degree is more than an academic accomplishment—it is a reminder that our current circumstances do not have to determine our future. With faith in God, determination, and the willingness to keep moving forward, transformation is possible.
To God be all the glory.
